Lip Blush Tattoo Training

Lip Blush Training with Loany (@seveninkbeauty)

I remember I thought learning Lip Blush was pointless and didn't know why people would do such a thing.  It's so easy to slap some lipstick on real quick!  Yet here I am, now offering Lip Blush.

The majority of clients get lip blush because they have discolored lips or their lips are more brown instead of pink.  My model for my training, for instance, had lost some pigmentation in her lips due to eczema and said her lips were always her insecurity.

I really enjoyed the training and my new mentor Loany was so sweet and amazing!  She is so knowledgable with lips and brows.  The class was thorough and covered everything I needed to know.  I def got my $1800 worth.

Learning the tattooing technique is different from doing eyebrows and was a bit hard to pick up at first.  I was doing the first pass on my model's lips and was having a difficult time that my trainer had to take my tattoo pen and show me how to do it for a bit.  Once it was time for the 2nd pass, I finally got it down and it was a breeze for me to where I was able to carry on a conversation with my model and it felt like the tattooing was on autopilot.

My model's lips turned out sooooo nice! She was so happy and in love with the color.  They will heal in less than a week and will fade 60% (40% retention rate).  Take a look at the before and after below.

I've already got 4 clients lined up for lips after just learning them 3 days ago and I can't wait to start working on them already!  See you next week for a brows story. :)

  1. Hi Alysia!

This is awesome! I had no idea that you did this. I always admired makeup artists and their ability to increase other people's confidence through their work. I have seen lip blush tattoo services being offered at some of the nail salons I go to, but never actually inquired about it. This is very interesting! I would love to speak to you in person to learn more about the whole process and what it entails. Thank you so much for sharing!
