Coming Soon: Trainings
Ombré Powder Brow Training
My first training request was when I was only 4 months into my career. I was sooo flattered but I definitely didn’t feel ready at all. After taking 2 brow courses, a saline removal course, and a lip blush course, I feel 100% confident that I can provide trainings where my students will feel satisfied. April 1 is my 1-year anniversary and I plan to announce training opportunities that day!
Above are some styles I’ve learned and I plan on teaching all techniques so that my students have options.
Some people start training in as little as six months. Since permanent makeup is loosely regulated, your credentials don’t matter too much when it comes to doing permanent makeup or training. It all depends on one’s confidence and their demand for training, which is a good and a bad thing.
There are so many artists that train just for the money and don’t care too much about whether their students learned everything they need to know. Trainings range from $2000 to $4000 and many of them are only for 1-3 days max. Imagine making $2000 in a day! That was so tempting and I definitely wanted to start sooner, but I don’t want to look at my students as dollar signs. I actually care about them becoming successful because at the end of the day, they are doing something PERMANENT on someone’s face! A lot of people are tempted to learn for the money since many people advertise how much you can make in one week alone (see ad below), but I want to make sure my students actually have a passion for it too.
While many beginner trainings are one day, I plan on doing 2-day trainings instead. I know one-day trainings can be draining from experience; my past 1-day trainings were 9 hours long. I am still debating on whether I should offer advanced trainings for students that have some permanent makeup experience. I guess I’ll see what the demand for it is once I announce my 2-day beginner training!
